Miss Str8… The name says it all. She is a straight-forward, simple, sexy, sweet and unique individual. The young singjay grew up in Portland/Jamaica, but is currently residing in Austria. She is a humble and God-fearing individual. Miss Str8 is known as a lyricist and a dancer; she is anticipated by many to become a huge hardcore Dancehall/Reggae artiste in the near future.
Known for her straight up attitude and sexy style of living, she gave herself the pseudonym Miss Str8. After going through a life changing experience in 2010, she made her first single "Nuh Care", which had a lot of influence on the lives of many young women in a very short period of time. Her unique stage presence and her powerful performances Thrills many music lovers.  Music has always played a predominant roll in her life; but as she grew, she avoided the fact that she loved to sing and dance. Even though she tried to avoid the entertainment world, entertainment never avoided her. Friends and family who saw her potential always push her on stage or into crowd to perform, and she always left the scene a winner or at the very least had the crowd asking for more.

In 2004 she decided to relocate to Austria. It didn't take Miss Str8 very long to settle in the dancehall scene and to be recognized as one of the most talented upcoming dancehall artist in Austria. She quickly stood- out with a collaboration of sexy outfits and creative dance moves. She lives by the Jamaican proverb “wa a fi u, a fi u nuh matter wa"; this means that whatever is due to you shall be received by you no matter what forces try to hinder the process.  After dropping her first single "NUH CARE” in 2010, she got some well deserved recognition which lead to a host of bookings for stage-shows on the Austrian music scene. Though she is seen as one of the hottest and most outspoken up and coming female dancehall acts in Austria, Miss Str8 remains humble and considers herself to be an ordinary person. In a past interview Miss Str8 is quoted saying…

“I’m a regular girl; I don’t think I’m better than anyone. When I get a cut I bleed, as do the homeless man on the streets; for at the end of the day we are all human beings”.
Her New tracks "Summer Time”, “Wine” and “Bad nuh bombo" are predicted hits for 2013 through 2014. They were all produced by HARDCORE PRODUCTION, a Gambian Producer who is also currently residing in Austria.

Miss Str8 has performed along-side artist such as Aidonia, Antony B, Demarco, Mr. Vegas, Gappy-Ranx, Tenza, Tiana, few others. She is dead set becoming a musical brand that will echo for many years to come.

REGGAE STAR : ORISHA SOUND

At age four, while other girls were focused on playing with dolls, She was practicing the violin, piano and singing, preparing for her destiny.
She knew at a young age that music made sense to her and it would be a part of her fate.
At nine years old, she was a child-prodigy virtuoso, touring in Europe and the United States.
Since then she has appeared on stage and in studio with Stevie Wonder, Stanley Clarke, Anthony Hamilton, Devante Swing, Flo Rida, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Sizzla, Sly & Robbie, Jae Deal, and many others.
Separating her from other young pop divas, Orisha developed a truly strong-minded persona as a result of her time on the road, while staying humble and real. Merging inspiration from performing and recording all around the world, Orisha makes a nod to many genres and cultures in her music. Her compositions combine elements of electronic, dance, alternative, hip-hop and world music. “I don't stay in one place - I move a lot - enjoying the beat of the streets and the studios of LA, Moscow, Kingston, London, Paris and NY... It’s all about the people and their love, hate, sex, faith, fun and struggle. It’s a ‘F**k the police’ mentality."

This fun loving, rebel singer/musician plays 16 instruments and simply doesn’t neatly fit into any genre box. Blending crisp beats, sultry vocal appeal and chic powerful “Euro” styling, she has positioned herself to fully grasp the ever, elusive dream of pop/crossover recognition.
Orisha’s talent and potential will shatter all assumptions about what a new artist can achieve, as she delivers the soundtrack to her personal story- from a child prodigy, to sought after musician virtuoso, to a powerful international artist. Her goal is not to become a duplicate of those that have come before her, but rather to be the first Orisha Sound. As Billie Holiday put it, “No two people on earth are alike, and it's got to be that way in music or it isn't music.”

After Orisha’s “Beautiful Sin” single release on InGrooves Fontana and Universal Records, several major labels were trying to get Orisha Sound on their roster and be the one to release her latest 15-track album “AR-15”. Recently she made a decision to team up with the notorious Suburban Noize Records and Sony to distribute her project worldwide (produced by Billboard Platinum producer Andrew Lane, Atlantic Records producer The Composer and Jamaican producer Shel-K) on June 11th.
Album features duet with legendary reggae artist Sizzla, singer Wayne Daniel and DJ Rusky Rusk. Songs were written and co-written by Orisha Sound and recorded in Boom Boom Box and Brandon’s Way (Los Angeles), Mixing Lab and Tuff Gong (Kingston) and Melodia (Moscow).

Orisha is no newcomer to the music industry and this budding star is setting the stage for a prosperous long career. Keep up with the antics of Orisha Sound at www.orishasound.com

Mitzie ‘Shuga’ Campbell has music running through her veins. From a young age, Brown Sugar had the dream of becoming a singer and now she has finally been fast-tracked for a career in the business.

The 2009 Digicel Rising Stars winner was born in New Ramble, St James and honed her singing skills at the Bogue Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Mother of a three-year-old son, she has worked hard to balance her maternal responsibilities and her burgeoning music career.

She is no stranger to the Montego Bay music scene and has been performing in the second city regularly since 2003 after graduating from the Herbert Morrison Technical High School. She started out doing regular gigs in Montego Bay at the Brewery, later settling down to full-time employment as a band singer at The Coral Cliff, on the Hip Strip.

With the backing of her band Jumanji, Brown Sugar won the hearts of both locals and visitors alike in Montego Bay, while building a solid and credible reputation as a band singer. She worked as a back-up singer for Da'Ville in 2005, and after a short stint started working with her current mentor, Tanya Stephens.

Sugar accompanied Tanya whenever she traveled abroad performing and got an excellent opportunity for honing her craft in the process. She toured Europe in the summer of 2007 and 2008 and has worked on numerous shows in the Caribbean. To top it off, she has performed in Gambia and Tanzania on the African continent where she gained an even greater experience visiting her ancestorial homeland.
Locally, she has appeared on Reggae Sumfest and Junior Gong's signature show Welcome to Jamrock, as well as Rebel Salute 2010. All these performances have prepared the singer for her present journey as a solo act. Boasting a strong voice and a sultry, sexy persona, Shuga represents the next generation of reggae and dancehall stars. She draws inspiration from her mentor Tanya Stephens and her idol Mariah Carey.
She believes that she is ready for the main stage, "I entered Digicel Rising Stars to get out and show people that I am here. I thought Digicel Rising Stars was the right way to kick-off my career. Now that I have won I want to make the best of the opportunity as a lot of Jamaicans support me and I don't want to disappoint them," says Brown Sugar. In what was a nail-biting finish, more than one million Jamaicans tuned in to watch Brown Sugar take the Digicel Rising Stars crown and judging by her performances on the show, her star is set to shine brighter.
Brown Sugar has currently changed her name and is now simply called Shuga. She has also been working with two of Jamaica’s top hit making producers, Donovan Germain from Penthouse Records and Paul “Computer Paul” Henton of Bootcamp Records. Her new hit single “Young Hearts Run Free” was produced by Computer Paul and from all indications will be the single to spearhead her career to another level. Shuga is here!
