Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall Artist Ryan Douglas, more popularly known as Gage born on the 16 of December has ventured on the scene of the music industry in Jamaica recently. In his early years as a teenager while attending Denbigh High School in May Pen, Gage recognized that his passion was music. His life has always been about music. Since then, he developed this desire by entering various major competitions locally such as the popular Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall and many clashes for Moby Records. These proved to be the stepping stones for Gage; he learnt a lot from them and is now using them to help in his vision of reaching the top.
Gage has performed across various parishes in Jamaica, and has informally shared various stages with Sizzla Kalonji and Munga Honourable at events held in his community. Therefore, he is no stranger to the music fraternity. Gage shot his first video for the song “Boom Boom” which is lyrically sounding, fun and catchy. It is produced by top producer DJ Karim and his personal management team, Dutty Fridaze Promotion. He has recently concluded the shooting of his smash hit “Walking Gun” on the Afterlife Riddim, produced by Justus and Roach for their JA Productions label. Many more singles and videos are in the making which are expected to be released throughout this year.
This talented, young, fast learner and motivated Artist has an indescribable passion for music and he intends to cross over on the international scene real soon. He intends to make his music the top choice for listeners across the world as they will feel it and can easily and readily relate to its messages and positive vibes. Jamaica and the rest of the music world can keep their eyes and ears open for Gage as his journey in the music industry has great things in store.
