Two weeks back “Hood Fyah” was premiered by one of Japan’s top reggae dancehall Djs; DJ Ichiban Reggae.  The popular DJ gave the club banger 5 star ratings.  He stated on his late night radio “the track its nothing but brilliant crafting from Di Boss Lady Tenza and Navino”.

In a time when authentic dancehall sounds seems to be fading, Di Boss Lady shows that dancehall music still have its roots, stemming back from the time of King yellow man, Muma Nancy and 90s Lady Saw; the Bosslady Hammered the song with hard-core lyrics and clever rhymes over an authentic dancehall beat. “Hood Fyah” will defiantly be one for the playlist of a number of top djs and one for your personal player.  Plans are already in play to shoot n official music video for “Hood Fyah” which is also due to release in coming weeks to give additional support to the ongoing promotions.  Boss Lady Tenza is also set to unleashed the launch of her long awaited clothing and fashion line in coming months.

UP-AND-COMING dancehall deejay Vershon is currently creating a stir in the dancehall with his debut single Boom. He is hoping to better that with his latest track Ruff up the World.
"The single is really a party song. Although it was released this summer, it is not limited to that period as Jamaicans party all year round," the 23-year-old told the Splash.
Both singles are produced by Birchill Records.

Vershon (given name Adrian Brown) said he believes his captivating image and witty lyrics will keep him ahead with the musical competition.

"It's not easy keeping relevant in the industry as there are new faces emerging everyday. For me, the aim is to maintain an image that will make me stand out in the crowd. Complemented with that, is my catchy lyrics that will either leave persons dancing like crazy or just meditating on the message," said Vershon, who sports a tattooed hairline.

The deejay said he has had a passion for the art since he was nine years old. That passion, according to him, would sometimes see him skipping classes at Greater Portmore High School in St Catherine and visiting studios with the hopes of getting his musical break.

His break would, however, come after deejay Mr G introduced him to producer Christopher Birch a little over a year ago. That meeting resulted in Boom.

"Boom is dance single which is directed at the females. I am really grateful, as it continues to get good rotation on the airwaves and is a favourite in the dancehall sessions," he said.

His other singles included Missing You, Biggest Strength and Man De Ya.
