UP-AND-COMING singjay Tactical said he is pleased with the reception to his singles Affi Rich and Raving All Day.
"Affi Rich is just a song explaining the different type of jobs that I have to do in order to maintain an income to pursue my career, while Raving All Day was just another summer song," the 23-year-old said.
Produced by Neutron Obliv of Time Unit Music, the singjay said both tracks have been receiving steady rotation on the airwaves.
Tactical, given name Bassanio McKenzie, said after graduating from Kingston Technical High School in 2009, like many other school leavers, he was unsure of his future.
"I had a passion for music since the age of 13, but it wasn't until 2011 that I decided to take it seriously," he said.
Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall 2011 was the launching ground for the entertainer. Although he only performed on two shows, Tactical said the exposure was immeasurable.
"The journey did not stop there for me, as I kept on honing my craft, and met up with music engineer Neutron Obliv, who taught me how to flow melodically," he stated.
He also did a stint with Push-A-Yute Records.
The singer, whose recordings include Dung Inna Di Hole, Gaylis From Long Time, Dem Nuh Real, Hawaiian Girl and Want Yuh, lost his mother to illness in Juy 2014
"I know she is watching over me... I consider her my guardian angel and driving force for Team Tactical as we move forward in my dream to become one of Jamaica's great entertainers,"
